Port Orange Philharmonic Terms - THE BASICS
Welcome! We are so happy that you have decided to become part of the Port Orange Philharmonic! These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you (Student and Parent) and the Port Orange Philharmonic regarding your participation in our program.
Membership and Eligibility:

Membership is open to students in middle school and high school.

You must at least be in 6th grade and have your parent or guardian's permission to join.

Membership requires a completed registration form and payment of the monthly fee.
Fees and Payment:

The monthly fee for Port Orange Philharmonic is $150 per concert cycle and an additional $75 for the jazz ensemble if participating in both.

Fees are due on the 1st of the month or paid on the first practice session of the month.

We accept payment by credit card/check/cash or through the monthly subscription through the website.

Returned payments may result in a service charge and potential suspension of membership.
Schedule and Attendance:

Weekly practice sessions are held on Sundays from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Spruce Creek High School.

Jazz will meet from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Regular attendance is highly encouraged.

Members are expected to inform P.O.P staff in advance of any planned absences.

Excessive absences are highly discouraged!
Conduct and Safety:

Members are expected to be respectful towards instructors, staff, and fellow members.

Unacceptable behavior includes bullying, harassment, violence, or any activity that disrupts the learning environment.

P.O.P. reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violations of these conduct guidelines.

Members are required to follow all safety instructions provided by Port Orange Philharmonic staff.

Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their child's safety during drop-off and pick-up times.

We ask that all students are picked up as soon as practice is over.
Communication:

Port Orange Philharmonic will communicate important information regarding schedules, events, and program updates through email.

Members are responsible for checking communication regularly to stay informed.
Liability and Release:

By participating in Port Orange Philharmonic, you agree to hold harmless and release POP its staff, and instructors from any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses sustained during participation in the program.
Termination:

Membership can be terminated by either party at any time with written notice.

Port Orange Philharmonic reserves the right to terminate membership for cause, including violations of these Terms, non-payment of fees, or disruptive behavior.

Refunds will not be issued for unused portions of the membership period except in cases of program cancellation by Port Orange Philharmonic.
